Environmental commitment

At Grup Blasi, sustainability guides every experience we design. We train our team and raise awareness among our customers to promote responsible resource use in our establishments.

We apply advanced technologies for energy efficiency and water treatment at Sangulí and Cambrils Park, while at Mediterranean Sports Hub, we focus on innovative solutions like sustainable artificial grass. Additionally, we promote responsible mobility and reduce waste to minimize our impact.

We have joined Tarkett's Carbon Conscious Program, offsetting CO₂ emissions by protecting 59,000 hectares of tropical rainforest in Peru. We believe sustainability is not just a responsibility but an opportunity to build a better future together.

Energy efficiency and use of renewable energy at Grup Blasi

Installation of photovoltaic and thermal solar panels, which generate electricity and hot water for various areas of the campsite:

They generate renewable energy for different areas of the campsite.
They cover an area of 2,730 m², distributed across areas such as accommodations, sanitary facilities, and staff installations.
They help reduce the use of non-renewable energy sources, with annual savings and a reduction in CO₂ emissions.

Modernization of air conditioning systems, electrical installations, and pool filtration systems to reduce energy consumption:

Renovation of air conditioning systems and electrical installations in accommodations to make them more efficient.
Installation of water filtration systems with AFM technology (Activated Filter Material), which improves water quality and reduces the use of chemicals.

Efficient lighting:

Over 95% of the lighting is LED or low-energy consumption, significantly reducing energy impact.

Sustainability in pest control and local flora

At Grup Blasi, we prioritize sustainable solutions for managing our natural environment. We use biological means for pest control, such as Bacillus thuringiensis and diatomaceous earth, to avoid the use of harmful chemicals. Additionally, we have installed pheromone traps to effectively combat specific pests like those affecting palm trees.

We also promote local biodiversity by planting nesting boxes for native birds, such as the bee-eater, and sowing native plant species adapted to the region's climate.

At Grup Blasi, we are committed to ensuring animal welfare in all our establishments, integrating programs that harmonize coexistence with animals and respect for the environment.

We implement a cat colony control program based on sterilization and controlled feeding, ensuring their responsible integration with the environment. Additionally, we have built houses made from recycled wood to provide them with a safe and comfortable space.

For our customers' pets, we have created Pet-Friendly spaces like the Pet Club, equipped with pools, agility circuits, special bathtubs, and rest areas for dogs. These facilities provide a positive experience for both the pets and the families accompanying them, reaffirming our commitment to inclusive and respectful tourism for all living beings.
