From 26 to 30 November, Futbol Salou – Mediterranean Sports Hub will become the main venue for the Surf Cup International 2025, once again placing Costa Daurada on the global map of youth football.

The event will bring together 224 teams from 32 countries, with more than 3,500 players aged 10 to 19 and over 2,000 accompanying visitors. Nearly 600 matches will be played in just five days across Futbol Salou and additional facilities in Cambrils, Vila-seca, Reus, Riudoms and the Gimnàstic de Tarragona club.

Elite clubs and international projection

The Surf Cup International strengthens its prestige with the participation of top academies such as:
FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal, Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, Sporting, Porto, Atalanta, Valencia, Villarreal, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad, among many others.

This edition welcomes new participating countries including Slovakia, Czech Republic, Jamaica, Congo, Georgia and Thailand, reinforcing the global reach of the tournament.

Sporting, tourism and economic impact

The competition will generate over 35,000 overnight stays during the low season and drive a wide range of local services: accommodation, transport, restaurants, medical services, refereeing teams, physiotherapy, and visits to PortAventura World and other attractions in the Costa Daurada region.

This event forms part of the Costa Daurada joint tourism promotion plan, led by the Tourism Boards of the Tarragona Provincial Council, Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, together with the FEHT.
