Grup Blasi’s Quality and Sustainability Manager, Alicia Herráez, participated as a speaker at the Social Sustainability in Tourist Accommodation Conference on the Costa Dorada, organised by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
During her presentation, she shared Grup Blasi’s approach to social sustainability, structured around two complementary perspectives.
On the one hand, internally, she highlighted the organisation’s commitment to creating a fair and high-quality working environment through initiatives such as free healthcare coverage for employees, physiotherapy services, a staff transport bus and a flexible salary model.
On the other hand, externally, she emphasised collaboration with social organisations and projects focused on the labour integration of people in vulnerable situations, thereby contributing to a positive social impact.
The session also highlighted a key idea: social sustainability is a strategic element for organisations, as it directly contributes to talent retention and attraction, as well as to building a more responsible business model.
Through this participation, Grup Blasi reaffirms its commitment to a sustainable tourism model, focused on people and aligned with current social challenges.
