On the occasion of Zero Discrimination Day, Grup Blasi promoted an internal activity aimed at encouraging reflection and raising awareness about the importance of respect, inclusion and coexistence within the organisation.
The initiative, shared with people from different teams, proposed a participatory experience that invited participants to put themselves in others’ shoes and reflect on situations related to discrimination. The activity began by separating participants into two different spaces according to gender and identifying them with a visible label, an exercise designed to generate an initial reflection on labels and perceptions.
From there, several questions were raised to encourage introspection and dialogue: who has ever felt they did not fit in, who has been afraid to speak up, or who has felt discriminated against.
Through this exercise, a shared reality became evident: beyond our differences, people’s experiences and emotions are often more similar than we imagine.
In an organisation such as Grup Blasi, where people from different backgrounds, ages, cultures and departments work together, diversity is part of everyday life and is considered a richness that strengthens both the team and the organisation. However, this richness is only possible when it is built on the foundation of respect and inclusion.
Through initiatives like this, Grup Blasi reaffirms its commitment to promoting respectful, safe and inclusive work environments where everyone feels valued, heard and part of a shared project.
Zero Discrimination Day reminds us that inclusion is not just a one-time statement, but a commitment that is built every day.
At Grup Blasi, we continue working to ensure that every person counts and that all of us can be part of the change.
