The initiative, implemented at Sangulí Camping & Resort and Cambrils Park Resort, will help reduce the use of single-use cups and move towards a more sustainable and circular food service model.
At Grup Blasi, we continue to move forward in our commitment to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of our activities. This season, we have introduced a new reusable cup system across various food and beverage outlets at Sangulí Camping & Resort and Cambrils Park Resort.
This initiative represents another step towards a more sustainable food service model, with the aim of significantly reducing the use of single-use cups, minimising waste generation and promoting a circular economy.
The new system is based on a specific collection, washing and reuse circuit. To facilitate the return of the cups, dedicated collection bins have been installed in the different food and beverage areas, allowing the cups to be reintroduced into the system and extending their lifespan.
Unlike other models implemented in the sector, Grup Blasi fully covers the cost of the system and does not charge guests any additional fee for using reusable cups. This decision reflects our commitment to providing a more convenient and accessible experience while strengthening the company’s environmental commitment.
The initiative also helps enhance the guest experience by offering a more comfortable alternative aligned with the expectations of increasingly conscious and responsible tourism.
This project is another example of Grup Blasi’s commitment to a responsible and regenerative tourism model, integrating environmental criteria into our day-to-day operations and promoting initiatives that generate a positive impact on the environment.
Because every action counts when it comes to caring for our planet.
