Creativity and innovation in the world of mixology were the stars of the fifth edition of the Summer Drinks competition, organized by Coca-Cola in collaboration with the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cambrils and the Innova FP project.
Five educational centers from Catalonia participated in this competition: Institut Cavall Bernat (Terrassa), Institut Dertosa (Tortosa), Institut Bisbe Sivilla (Calella), CIPFP Benicarló, and the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cambrils. Each school presented a student, tasked with creating and presenting two original cocktails live: one non-alcoholic (daylight summer drink) and one alcoholic (sunset summer drink).
A prestigious jury, made up of industry professionals such as Adrián De La Rosa (ambassador of Royal Bliss), Engel Selva Mendoza (manager and bartender at the Dry Martini cocktail bar in Barcelona), and Paolo Di Genaro (flair bartender), evaluated the creativity, technique, and presentation of the proposals.
At Grup Blasi, we are proud to be part of this initiative that fosters young talent, promoting training and entrepreneurial spirit in the hospitality industry. All participants received various prizes, including stays at Cambrils Park Resort 4* and Camping & Resort Sangulí Salou, both from Grup Blasi, as well as training experiences, tickets to PortAventura World, and gifts from the collaborating brands.
We thank everyone involved in making this new edition of Summer Drinks Cambrils a reality, and we reaffirm our commitment to the development of young talent and the promotion of valuable events for the region.
